This year a total number of 2.21 lakh students appeared for the Assam class 10 exam. The students are notified that the results are available only online as no one will be allowed to visit the schools for the results. All the schools will remain closed.
Students will have to use the digital marksheet available on the SEBA website to take admission in class 11th. Assam education minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had earlier stated that students can download and print their mark sheets and the same can be used for admissions to colleges, schools etc.
According to the recently released Assam class 10 result 2020, 64.8 percent students have cleared the Assam board 10th exam.
Jorhat district topped the list with 100% pass percentage while Udalguri came last with 0% (all 3 students who appeared failed).
Alankrita Gautam Baruah of Salt Brook School, Dibrugarh came second with 594 marks out of 600 to secure second rank.
Dhritiraj Bastav Kalita of Padum Pukhuri High School in Darrang topped the results scoring 595 out of total 600 marks.
